Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about our AI transformation programme and AI Logistics Cloud — domain models, GPU cloud, fine-tuning, agents, token and multimodal metering — followed by freight forwarding, customs, insurance, agency, trading and commercial terms.

01AI Transformation Programme

The company is shifting its centre of gravity from traditional logistics services to AI services. The programme covers an intelligent enquiry assistant, shipment status visibility, document automation, visual recognition in the yard and warehouse, and data-driven operations review. Each phase is validated with selected customers before being extended, and the capability developed internally is then offered to industry customers through AI Logistics Cloud.

No. AI assists our team with faster response drafts, status tracking and document checks. Every shipment still has a human point of contact responsible for the whole movement.

It is the planned use of imagery to record cargo condition and handling milestones: container and pallet condition before and after handling, seal and loading verification, yard and warehouse stocktaking views, and key in-transit checkpoints. Photos are matched to the corresponding booking or waybill reference and kept as part of the shipment file.

Safety monitoring covers PPE compliance at entry points, forklift and pedestrian path conflicts, restricted zone intrusion during lifting operations, stacking height and lashing anomalies, yard vehicle speed, and incident replay for corrective follow-up. Automated detections are reviewed and confirmed by a responsible officer before any action. Footage is used only for cargo condition, operational safety and dispute evidence, kept for a defined period, with access limited to authorised staff and signage displayed at monitored areas.

02AI Logistics Cloud

It is for industry customers in logistics, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, cross-border trading, manufacturing and third-party warehousing who want domain-specific AI capability without building and operating it themselves. Access is provided through API, a customer console, or private and hybrid deployment where data cannot leave customer premises.

The model hub covers logistics document recognition, HS code and declaration assistance, freight rate and capacity forecasting, cargo visual condition recognition, a multilingual customer service model for English, Bahasa Melayu and Chinese, and warehouse safety behaviour recognition. Each model is labelled as live, in pilot or planned, and evaluation results are reported per scenario against an agreed evaluation set rather than as a single averaged score.

It follows a standard flow: requirement diagnosis, data assessment and cleaning, annotation standards, SFT or LoRA fine-tuning, evaluation against a held-out set, pilot validation, then deployment and ongoing iteration. Customer SOPs, tariff rules and service scopes can also be connected as a retrieval knowledge base so answers stay grounded in approved material. Every training run is version controlled and can be rolled back.

A hosted environment to compose and govern task-oriented agents: quotation and enquiry, document processing, shipment tracking, customer service desk, safety inspection and supply chain analysis. It includes an agent template library, tool and API integration, multi-agent orchestration, permissions and audit trail, canary release, and a human-in-the-loop takeover path so an officer can intervene at any point.

It is a unified gateway and metering layer across models. Token budgets can be allocated by project, department or end customer, with hard limits and soft warnings, cost dashboards and threshold alerts, caching and routing rules that send simpler tasks to lighter models, call-level logging for audit and reconciliation, and rate limiting to protect production workloads during peak usage.

Compute capacity reserved for industry AI workloads: multi-GPU training nodes with checkpointing and resume, dedicated queues for LoRA and SFT fine-tuning jobs, elastic inference capacity for latency-sensitive endpoints, and scheduled batch throughput for document and imagery processing at lower unit cost. Jobs are scheduled by agreed priority so production traffic is protected, and utilisation, queue depth and cost per job are reported back to the customer console. Where data cannot leave customer premises, the same scheduling layer runs on customer-side hardware in a private arrangement.

Industry workloads are rarely text-only, so usage is metered per modality and then converted into one comparable record. Text tokens cover dialogue, summarisation and report generation. Image tokens cover document images, cargo condition photographs and stocktaking frames, measured by resolution and processing depth. Video tokens cover handling surveillance and safety event clips, measured by duration and sampling rate. Voice tokens cover multilingual service calls, transcription and broadcast. A cross-modal task that reads a document, checks a photograph and drafts a reply is recorded as one traceable unit with its component costs, and separate quotas can be set for image and video workloads, which are usually the fastest-growing cost line.

Customer data is isolated per tenant with least-privilege access. Imagery, documents and call logs are kept for an agreed retention period, with access limited to authorised staff and signage displayed at monitored areas. Personal data handling follows Malaysian personal data protection requirements, and cross-border transfer arrangements are confirmed before deployment. Model output supports decisions rather than replacing them, and we do not claim absolute accuracy for any model.

The usual path is capability trial in a sandbox, then one bounded scenario pilot with success criteria agreed in advance, then joint fine-tuning, then a platform subscription. Send us a sample of your documents, a description of the workflow or a site layout, and we will propose the models and agents involved together with the evaluation criteria we would report against.

03Freight Forwarding

We coordinate ocean, road and air movements across Malaysia and Southeast Asia, including cross-border trucking to neighbouring markets and international ocean and air services through carrier partners. Routing options are compared per shipment based on cargo type, volume and target schedule.

Yes. For ocean cargo we arrange full container loads (FCL) and less-than-container loads (LCL), including consolidation, customs documentation and inland delivery to the final destination.

Origin and destination, cargo description, weight and dimensions, quantity, Incoterms and target schedule. You can submit these through the enquiry form on this website and our freight desk will respond with a structured quotation draft.

For standard FCL shipments we recommend confirming at least one to two weeks before the target sailing, and earlier during peak periods when equipment and space are tight. For LCL cargo the consolidation cut-off is the binding constraint, so the inland pickup date matters as much as the sailing date.

Yes. We coordinate reefer and special equipment bookings with the carrier and confirm temperature settings, ventilation and monitoring requirements in writing before the container is released. For oversized cargo we plan equipment, inspection coordination and staged delivery at proposal stage.

04Customs & Documentation

Typically a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, customs declaration, and a certificate of origin where the destination requires it. Controlled goods also need the relevant import or export permits. We confirm the exact list for your cargo and route at proposal stage.

The shipper provides the product description and we review the classification against it before submission. Where a description is ambiguous we flag it back early, because an incorrect HS code is one of the most common causes of border delay and duty reassessment.

Most delays trace back to incomplete or inconsistent paperwork rather than vessel or truck schedules. Our documentation team checks cargo descriptions, values, HS codes and consignee details before submission, and keeps one complete document file per shipment so discrepancies can be resolved quickly.

We coordinate customs documentation, review declarations before submission and work with licensed parties for the clearance process. The exact arrangement depends on the border point and cargo type, and is confirmed in the written scope of responsibility for each shipment.

05Insurance & Liability

Carrier liability under the terms of carriage is limited and is not the same as cargo insurance. If you want cover for the value of the goods, cargo insurance should be arranged separately. We can coordinate the insurance certificate where cargo is insured and confirm who holds the policy.

Report the discrepancy at the point of receipt, before signing a clean delivery document. Photograph the cargo and packaging as received. We then collect the handling records, transport documents and communication history for the relevant leg and support you in the claim process according to the terms of the movement.

Through the custody records at each handover point. Where a flow involves several suppliers, carriers and warehouses, we use a standard handover record for each transfer of custody so that the responsible leg can be identified from documents rather than from recollection.

06Commercial & Payment

Quotations are indicative until confirmed, because carrier rates, equipment availability and surcharges change with the market. We state the validity period on each proposal and re-confirm rates if the shipment moves outside that window.

Terms are agreed per customer based on shipment volume and history. New customers typically start with settlement before cargo release, and recurring shippers can discuss credit terms with our desk once a shipment history is established.

Yes. For regular shippers we document a scope of responsibility covering which steps we handle, communication channels and escalation paths, then review transit performance and exceptions periodically to adjust the arrangement.

07Agency & Documentation

We represent shippers in carrier negotiations, booking coordination and end-to-end supply chain arrangements. This suits companies that ship regularly but prefer not to maintain a full in-house logistics department. Each arrangement is documented with a clear scope of responsibility.

Our documentation team prepares and reviews commercial invoices, packing lists, declarations and bill of lading workflows, checking cargo descriptions, values, HS codes and consignee details before submission to reduce border delays.

08Trading & E-Commerce

We trade, wholesale and distribute electronic products and other goods through internet-based channels, including e-commerce activities. Wholesale partners can discuss volume arrangements, packaging requirements and delivery windows with our trading desk.

Because freight forwarding and warehousing sit within the same company, order fulfilment is planned together with transport scheduling instead of being outsourced in fragments, which improves dispatch consistency for online sellers.
